Description

Fly-A-Way is a competitive, family-friendly, strategy board game that’s all about helping migratory birds cross the East Asian-Australasian Flyway (EAAF) to reach their destinations safely.
As birds face man-made and environmental dangers, it will be up to players to rally support for their cause—getting the public funds they need and pairing up with birders to save their feathered friends.
The birds, migratory routes and events encountered in the game are a product of careful research and consultation with Tuber‘s knowledge partner BirdLife International (Asia). Part of the proceeds from the game will go towards the organisation’s conservation efforts.

Fun route-building game about real bird migration. Strategise when you play. Sometimes, though, you justneed to...Wing It!

This game has... a building mechanism to it, in which you're gathering pathways, but the Fowl (Play) cards can manipulate that... I love the twist of actually being a little bit more aggressive... You're also utilising your opponent's spaces, which is a lot of fun.

Fly-A-Way provides both casual and enthusiast boardgamers a great time... The game goes on fairy quickly towards the end. (You will) want to play another round just to try a different strategy.

The game concept is simple and easy to learn — save as many birds as possible, and be the first to reach 100 points! Yet, despite its straightforward objective, Fly-A-Way demands players to be strategic in their gameplay, requiring plenty of critical thinking and decision making.

A fantastic board game that's highly entertaining and educational for young and old alike. I learnt quite a bit from playing it. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys board games and wants to know more about migratory birds in our region. Can’t wait to get my set.
